What we do

Practice

We are a strategic advisory firm. Our work is bespoke, senior, and confidential — a briefing for a board, a judgment for an investment committee, a read on a counterpart before a negotiation. We do not sell reports.

Approach

Selective

We take few clients, and only where our judgment can change the outcome.

Relationships

What a closed network knows, an open one never will. Access here is earned over years; it does not scale.

Independent

Our counsel is independent, and our standards about whom we act for are exacting.

Where we are engaged

Country & political risk

How power actually works in a given capital, where it is moving, and what that means for your exposure.

Counterparty & partner due diligence

Who you are truly dealing with — ownership, allegiance, and the obligations that never reach the public register.

Market entry & positioning

Whether to enter, how, and with whom — and the local realities that decide an outcome long after the deal is signed.

Dispute, investigation & integrity support

Discreet inquiry in support of litigation, arbitration, and sensitive internal matters.

Stakeholder & regulatory intelligence

A clear reading of the institutions, interests, and individuals that will shape a decision.

People

Curia Orientis is a small, multinational group. Its members have spent their careers in statecraft, in business, in academia, and on the ground across the arc. We do not name them — the discretion we keep about ourselves is the discretion we keep for those we serve.

Method

Our analysis is built from the ground — people who are present, primary documents, and a disciplined reading of everything that is open. It reaches a single decision-maker, in the form that decision requires, and goes no further.
